No. Choose Continue as offline guest and play against the computer at Easy, Medium or Hard, even in airplane mode. Online battles, private rooms and leaderboards need a free account (email or Google).

Tap Create Private Room and share the 7-letter code or link with your friend. They tap Join Room and enter the code. You can also use Challenge a Player to find someone by their handle and send a battle request.

You earn points in every online battle for winning, finishing fast, shooting accurately and sinking enemy ships. Points are calculated by the game server. The weekly board starts fresh every Monday; monthly and all-time boards keep your total.

Disconnects never cost you a game. Reopen the app and you will continue where you left off.

On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password and enter your email address. We will email you a reset code. If you signed up with Google, just use Continue with Google.

Make sure notifications are allowed for Battleship in your phone's Settings › Apps › Battleship › Notifications, and that battery optimisation is not blocking the app.

In the app, go to Settings › Delete online account and confirm; your account is deleted immediately. You can also request deletion from our website without the app; see the Delete Account page.
